“Overall, Scapeland did an amazing job on several areas of landscaping that we considered eye sores on our property. From the time we met, until the final inspection, we experienced great communication, kindness, openness to listen and really hard working people. I put my trust in Nate’s vision and ideas and it was well worth it. Scapeland went to the nursery with me to help pick out the plants that would work best in the areas we needed planting. After cleaning out the overgrown/dead areas we had, Scapeland helped visualize placement of plants with me before actually planting. They were willing to collaborate with some of our ideas, too, to complete the end result. At final inspection, there were some small tasks that I wanted done that were not discussed previously, and Scapeland went above and beyond to make it perfect by getting the shovel back out and finishing the project. “Scapeland was excellent. We purchased a home at the end of last summer and knew we were in for some serious cleanup work, more than my wife and I could handle on our own. The backyard was extremely overgrown and there was a lot of litter including blocks, wood, pine needles, leaves, and brush. It was clear that it hadn't been maintained for a few years. Scapeland came to save the day. The initial bid was good and when the work turned out to be considerably more than originally planned, they were very courteous and reasonable in negotiating. They did an excellent job in two full days of work and our yard looks a million times better than it did prior, so much so that we're having them come back this summer to do some more grading/removal of things left over from the previous owners. I definitely recommend Scapeland for all landscaping needs!”

“Wonderful experience with Scapeland! If you are looking for landscapers your search is over. Very professional and responsive. We had VERY large boulders placed and a new play area installed. Nate did a masterful job placing the rocks with his skid steer. I was so impressed. Then when I was brainstorming how to incorporate the play area with the existing landscaping Nate had a smart idea. It looks great! Even when the job had hiccups (which most projects do) Nate and Jake were very professional and handled the delays with grace. It is so good to know there are still hardworking dependable people out in the world like Nate, Jake and their crew.”

“I have an area in my backyard that would puddle in the winter when it’s above freezing and raining. I had to pump it out to my driveway to prevent it from getting into the addition to my garage. Nate assessed the problem, came up with a plan and his crew carried it out. They created a low spot in the area and installed a dry well surrounded by landscape rock that is cohesive with the surrounding landscape. Nate was a very good listener and communicated well throughout the process. He and his crew listened and responded to all of my concerns and took care of everything to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this company, Scapeland!”

“I had some old, overgrown shrubs in front of my house that hid it from the street and made deliveries and snow shoveling difficult. They were also pretty ugly. Nate and crew worked with me to remove the shrubs and create a pollinator garden that the butterflies, bees, and I will enjoy for years to come. “Scapeland did an outstanding job of rebuilding limestone retaining walls on our front hill. They used a dry fit technique but these walls will now hold up better than they did previously and we suspect these walls were over 30 years old. They were courteous, incredibly dedicated to their task which wasn’t easy. Their bid was competitive and even though the estimate changed slightly during the job, we felt like our money was well spent and the results more than met our expectations. We feel the look is very organic and fits our setting at the base of Grandad Bluff perfectly!”

Nate presented multiple ways to correct the issue and was patient during all of my questions and the time it took me to make a decision. Communication was great, very responsive.
